Hiking in the spring sunshine on a mountain top with these two love bugs was an experience for the books! What started as a where-are-we-and-WHAT-THE-HECK-is-that-rainbow-colored-reptile while tromping through knee-high brush looking for a cascading 40ft waterfall (which apparently was just a myth and not actually a thing), soon became dancing through wheat fields with prairie dogs and scrambling over boulders in the sunset.
The day ended with literally hundreds of thousands of fireflies flickering like strobe lights in the fields alongside the road down the mountain. Of course, we had to get out of the car so I could prance among them like child and Chris could catch a few. Hannah and Chris are some of the most caring and authentic people I know, and getting to capture their love was such a dang treat.
